The following are some photos of Pretzel Pickle Pistol Pete on a railroad tie with a description of his thoughts. This is where most of his thoughts occur, as he is not getting belly scratches or food.

Pretzel wonders why I am holding a rectangle at him, and if that will get him treats. It does sometimes, but not all the time. This can be confusing.

During meditation Pretzel realizes the rectangle does not matter - this all could be a simulation ... if that is the case he would rather use his time thinking about how cool it would be to fly. He has wings after all.

Pretzel is momentarily saddened and concerned about all the pain in the world. He wonders if there are other dogs who do not get treats or belly scratches. This thought disturbs him.

Walking the railroad ties, Pretzel contemplates the origin of these fine landscaping ornaments. Did they hold rails for trains to move on? What did those trains carry? Probably all sorts of smells. Especially when it carried people - maybe famous people? Maybe a president! Abe Lincoln could have used this railroad tie to visit his family. Probably not though, he lived too far north. Maybe a train was robbed on these railroad ties. How does a person rob a train? And why? Were they carrying a lot of money? It doesn't seem reasonable to steal a train, you'd get caught at the next stop.

Pretzel thinks he sees a train robber. It turns out to be a bird. Birds are his friends.

Pretzel wishes there were more treats right now.
