Pretzel's CHEWY Fashion Show Review

The first time Pretzel went to Chewy Studios he was nervous - he had spent way too much time with me and became a bit attached. Kind of like a kid getting dropped off at camp Pretzel was put in a new environment, around new people, with all sorts of new smells - and he wasn't sure what to expect.

Fortunately Pretzel grew up with my sister and had all sorts of human and animal friends at work, so it only took another visit to Chewy to remind him what a social critter he is. He has been a good boy ever since - save that one time he was scared of an ottoman - but he got over that too.

Now days, when we get up early in the morning and head for the truck, he jumps like the ground is a trampoline. He knows we are driving to a place full of kind people and good treats.

The following is my review of his fashion choices and how he wore them. Please visit the Chewy links if you know an animal who needs to look and feel this good!

Pretzel knows he is beautiful. Look at that stance. His hat is perfect. His leg-wings give another accent to the dress - and it totally works.

Wings on full display - tongue out - Pretzel rocks this dress. His forehead challenges the hat. This is something Chihuahuas deal with every day.

This is the humble photo. Pretzel knows he owned the previous shots. He wants you to see the full dress on display in all its glory. The hat is nice too.

Can you imagine a dog and cat dressed this way - dancing on TikTok to a (public domain) song and/or funny sounds you kind of recognize but can't put your finger on? Now you can. CLICK HERE to check out this beautiful dress from Chewy for your animal(s) - let me know when you're famous. I'll give you a high-five.

He's giving a ROAR!

To be fair, in most of my experiences with this face, he makes a high-pitched sound because he is tired and/or wants attention. Usually both. His wings make him look like more of a lion, I think. If we dyed his ears orange he could look like a wombat-lion hybrid.

I just looked up pictures of wombats and realized they didn't have big ears. I don't know how that misinformation got in my head. Wombats have tiny ears. Look it up. More importantly - CLICK HERE if your animal needs some courage to be a lion, from Chewy.

This is my favorite. Pretzel is strutting around like he knows what's going on - all while the head of his costume falls off. This costume is adorable (and so is he) even while the costume falls off.

If you have ever put clothes on an animal you know this is usually the case. Even if you put it on right and they love it, it ends up silly. Mostly because animals don't wear clothes on the regular. CLICK HERE if your animal wants to strut around like they own the place in a blue monster suit - from Chewy!

Rock and roll,

-Stein
